The Second Report is Released.
29 October 2008
Working Lives: Statistics and Stories is the second report from the Australia at Work project. The report contains details of Australian's working lives in the first half of 2008 and 2007.

The report finds that while no dramatic changes have occured and employees remain happy with their workplace relations, some issues persist. Australia has some of the longest full-time hours among OECD countries, at 44 hours per week. Over half of the workforce report that 'more and  more is expected of me for the same amount of pay'. There was an increase in the proportion of workers reporting that they are finding it difficult to get by or coping on their current household income.
